ENTERING HOSPITAL TOMORROW

Just found out that I'll be entering the hospital tomorrow, two days before my hip replacement surgery.  Surgery will take place Thursday, July 14, and I need blood platelet infusions to raise the platelet count two days before surgery.  I  have a condition called Thrombocytopenia....a reduced number of platelets not safe for surgery.  Thought you all would be interested in that information. LOL

So, my doctor said to pack my bag....that means about 575 books and 7 different Bibles in my Kindle with charger, cellphone and charger, toiletries, prescription list of meds I'm now taking, and a small asundry of items to fill a cloth bag.

I'm constantly awed by God's plan.  Everything just seems to work out for the best.  So many details have gone into this plan and how God seems to have the time and knowledge to make them happen is beyond my comprehension. I'm not one to question him, I have faith and trust that he is right beside me, calling the shots.  I know he has picked the best and the most skillful staff of doctors and medical assistants to bring my condition back to a better quality of a more normal life.  To say  the least, I'm very excited.

So, dear friends, I'll probably be in the hospital for about a week and then the real work on my part begins with the therapy and rehab.  When I am at the point after surgery that I'm having withdrawal from the PC, I hope to have the laptop available to me to share my experience with all of you.

God willing and I will greatly appreciate any prayers sent upward for me and my family during this time.  Pray for each other and spread the love of Jesus to those that have so little.

Hugs,
Barb
